Hydraulic Well Control stands by the philosophy of "experience backed by technical verification." Specifics for each job are carefully reviewed and calculations are made to ensure that the proper equipment is selected for a successful job. Numerous factors such as well head size and pressure, well bore schematics, logistics, type of job and safety issues are addressed before any job is mobilized.
In addition, our field personnel complete an IADC “Well Cap” approved course, "Well Control Training Guidelines in Well Completion, Workovers, Snubbing, and Coil Tubing for Supervisors."
HWC can assist you in a broad range of technical issues including:
- Snub force calculations
- Lift force calculations
- Required hydraulic pressure
- Burst and collapse calculations
- Tubular buckling limitations
- "Torque and Drag" calculations
- Hydraulic circulation volume and velocity requirements
- Chemical compatibility of tubulars, BOP's, and workover fluids
- Guy wire design
To keep up with our clients and their challenges in the deep water arena we have engineered and designed, along with a sister company, a system which allows an HWO unit to be fully compensated while performing snubbing and/or work over operations on a floating production structure.
If you need any technical assistance, please do not hesitate to send our Technical team an e-mail at info@hydraulicwellcontrol.com or call 800-257-9310 or 985-851-2402.
