With over 26 years of live well and workover experience, HWC has never experienced a job related fatality. Why do we have one of the best safety records in the industry? The answer is simple, we plan it that way!

By utilizing our Houma, Louisiana training facility and third party safety training professionals, our Safety and Training Departments provide instruction in every aspect of on-the-job safety from well operations to life-saving techniques, including CPR and First Aid. Along with extensive classroom instruction, our employees get hands-on experience working with our modular equipment.

HWC's safety team frequently conducts rig site visits to reinforce our company’s commitment to safety. Safety visits, combined with our Behavioral Based Safety Process, and continuous training efforts encourage total employee involvement. The entire process reiterates the fact that everyone’s safety and protecting the environment are HWC’s top priorities.

HWC personnel are trained to meet and/or exceed the requirements set forth by the U.S. Department of the Interior's Minerals Management Service.
